Ponthier Cooked Chestnuts
"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose..." Ok, so Jack Frost may not have been seen in Hong Kong for a while but his chestnuts are here. Deliciously tender and slightly sweet, Ponthier chestnuts are exquisite to eat alone, or as an appetiser, in salads, as an accompaniment to meat, game and fish, and even in desserts.
Prepared using the signature method developed by André Ponthier thirty years ago, the fresh chestnuts are hulled over a flame before being hand sorted. Once the best chestnuts are selected, they are then steamed in batches and sealed in vacuum bags for their journey to you.
Subject to slight variation, each pack weighs approximately 400g
