BAKED VACHERIN MONT D'OR

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 200c.
  2. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer until potatoes are fork tender.
  3. Take the lid off the Mont d’Or.
  4. Stick the sliced garlic clove and sprigs of herbs into the cheese.
  5. Season with pepper and pour over a splash of white wine.
  6. Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes until completely soft.
  7. While the cheese is warming up, cook your Toulouse sausages and slice into bitesize pieces for easier dipping.
  8. Pull the cheese from the oven and serve while still hot with anything and everything arranged around the cheese.
