Black Cow Vodka
This is vodka made out of milk! Distilled from whey leftover from the cheesemaking process, it has a velvety smooth, creamy character and, being made from a by-product it’s gold-standard sustainable. Produced at Childhay Manor in West Dorset, it is delicious to sip neat, or mix in a cocktail or long drink.
You won’t be surprised to learn that the founders of Black Cow come from a long line of dairy-men and women. But unlike their parents (and grandparents, and great grandparents) they strayed off the cheesemaking path to break new ground in what can be done with milk, creating a product that very nearly defied categorisation.
