There is a lot of plastic in the world. And it's not going anywhere. It's going to be here on the earth, in one form or another, actually forever. And none of those forms is going to be doing anything helpful.

Kind Bags were born out of a burning desire to do something to tackle this less than hopeful situation. They are working on the problem from three sides. One, give you a bag to use in place of the one that will all to quickly end up in the ocean. Two, make that bag out of plastic bottles, keeping them away from the whales too. And three, sending some of the coin they make to people working to sort out the rest of the trash that does go seaward.
