Ah, fish balls - the famous street food snack that originated right here in our beloved city Hong Kong. They’re made using different fish meat (eel, grey mullet and mackerel being common choices) that are then turned into fish paste by either pounding, grinding or shredding - shaped into round spheres, skewered then cooked and covered with generous spoon-fulls of curry sauce or chilli oil. We recommend for hot pots, with your noodles and on BBQs too!
