The Shiraz is a contemporary style of McLaren Vale - due to the elevation and cooler weather, this Shiraz gives you high levels of natural acidity, freshness and a bright lively colour. As it’s matured in second-fill French oak barriques, the primary fruit flavours stand out.
Colour: deep inky ruby.
Aroma: lifted black forest fruits, touch of all spice and dried herbs.
Palate: generous and elegant; bright notes of blackberry and dark plum. Good backbone of acid, before a savoury finish showing hints of black pepper and dark chocolate.
