A gorgeous South-African unoaked Chardonnay from the Stellenbosch region. Typically a bright, pale yellow colour with greenish hues. Its aromatic notes are usually characterised by citrus as well as green apple, peach and melon - a hint of vanilla or oak from the ageing process.
On the palate it is medium-bodied with a crisp acidity. You’ll often taste tropical fruits, such as pineapple and mango, also green apple and lemon. A subtle hint of oak at times, along with a buttery or creamy texture from malolactic fermentation. It’s got a long and lingering finish, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of citrus and tropical fruits.
A refreshing and well-balanced Chardonnay that pairs well with a variety of foods - seafood, poultry and salads.
