An authentic farmers cheese made in the Netherlands for generations, this is Gouda as intended: fresh, buttery cow's milk with a savoury, nutty bite. A diet rich in green clover is served up to pampered Holstein-Friesian herd day in and day out. This results in a cheese rich with brothy, caramelly flavour and a dense, toothsome bite.
Perfect in nearly every application- pair it with cherry jam on a cheese board, with a smear of mustard on a melty grilled cheese, or just snack on it all day long. Not a slicer this one, best served grated or crumbled into rough nuggets.
