Green Apple (one piece)
Equal parts sweet and sour, green apples make a perfect pick me up or afternoon snack. Loaded with vitamins and antioxidants they pack a serious nutritional punch. Their high acidity and firm texture make them ideal cooking apples.
For a simple, healthy dessert, remove the core, fill the hole with dried fruit, top with a knob of butter before wrapping in tin foil and baking for a good 30-40 minutes. Serve as is, with cream, ice cream or custard. Delish!
