Zucchini (one piece)
Zucchini or courgette is a marvellously versatile vegetable. With quite a delicate flavour, but porous, almost spongey texture it is a fantastic carrier of other flavours. There are so many delicious ways to serve this vegetable, season liberally, toss in olive oil and grill on a hot griddle pan or baarbque. Use a spiraliser or peeler to cut into noodles or ribbons and use in place of long pasta. Grate it and add to burger patties or meat ragus for a little ‘hidden veg’ in your families food! In soups, stews, salads, it’s healthy and tasty.
