Brie de Meaux 200g


Possibly the first cheese that comes to mind when thinking of a cheese platter. Brie de Meaux is a perennial favourite sure to please. To serve properly, make sure it is at room temperature, not cold from the fridge. Happy partners include sliced baguette, cornichons and maybe some onion marmalade or fruit paste. 

A soft velvety texture with a tender bloomy rind. Complex, rounded and soothing, with notes ranging from mushroom to cauliflower to sauteed cabbage and leek. The interior is a rich golden colour, contrasting the bloomy whites and deeper flaxen flourishes on the rind.
