Picandou & Honeycomb Salad

From starting to serving: 10 minutes. Active time: 10 minutes. Serves 1. 

How the chefs explain it:
A simple composed salad for one. Multiply the recipe to suit the number of diners.

  1. Put verjuice, oil, salt & pepper in a large bowl and whisk well.
  2. Add rocket, walnuts and cheese and toss to coat.
  3. Serve on individual plates and dot the honeycomb over the salad.

 

This is a beautiful starter and makes for a very French way to serve your meal. It would be lovely followed by a few tender lamb cutlets, or some delicately prepared white fish.
