The Romans enjoyed wines from Spain, so they began naming the wines and wine-based punches, sangria - it means "bloodletting" in Spanish and Portuguese. A century later, this exact drink became very popular in Europe...and the world over and thank goodness for that. 

Temperatures have risen, it's humid out there again. So all summer long we serve you our very own Three Butchers Sangria. A classic house-made recipe with a FABulous twist. We mix our Three Butchers Shiraz with San Pellegrino lemonade, slices of orange, apple, lemon and spices. We serve it by the glass ($88) or by the carafe ($328).
