Artichokes are a funny one. A bit of a pain to prepare, but once all the hard work is done, they are actually a really delicious and healthy vegetable to include in your diet. They have a subtle vegetal flavour almost like very mild broccoli stems, but when pickled or marinated they readily soak up flavours and become truly scrumptious. These organic grilled artichokes and great on a pizza, tossed through pasta or served on an antipasti platter. Even in risotto actually. If you're making Italian food, throw a few artichokes in. 

Mr Organic started with a bespoke range of tomatoes, sauces and ketchups all produced in Pontinia, south of Rome. They now work closely with a host of farmers in the region who produce purely organic vegetables, fruits and grains which travel a very short journey before being processed. This means, beautiful Roman produce, picked and packed at the peak of its season, bottling up its freshness and vitality.
